Potter's Appointment

Former boss Jon Dahl Tomasson was sacked following the national team's defeat to the Kosovan team on 13 October, an outcome that ended direct progression from Group B unattainable

The Swedish team find themselves last place of Group B with just one point from their opening four games
Even if they don't manage to secure second place, they may yet take part in the secondary qualification as a result thanks to their showing during the previous UEFA competition
